Twin bomb blasts on Bangalore-Guwahati Express at Chennai Central Station at Platform No.9 time of 7.15AM on 1st May 2014. This exploitation was happened on Morning 7.30 am at Chennai Railway Station. One Women(TCS Employee) in Bangalore Killed in the Chennai Bomb blast and other 18 Passengers have heavy injured.

ALL INDIA Radio News: The bombs were planted under the seats of the passengers. One person was killed and 9 were injured. The injured have been admitted to a hospital.  Train services have been halted. Investigations are underway. The Ministry of Railways has announced an ex-gratia of 1 lakh rupees for the kin of the deceased. 25,000 rupees will be given to the 2 critically injured, and 5,000 rupees to the seven with minor injuries.
